sick

I've been stuck in bed for the last two days miserable with some sort of cold/flu/cough deal. Even though my computer is at the foot of my bed (like serriously, I'm sitting on my bed right now as I type this) I haven't even had the energy/will to go online. Being sick sux.

I've been drowing it with Nyquil and massive amounts of Tang. I think the tide is turning.

the worst was that it hit me when I had been "up" for four days... man that is not the time you want to get sick. It's like being in hell (and it was at least another full day before I could actually fall asleep and start getting better) I was pretty much a basket case.

It may have been BECAUSE you were up for four days. One time I deliberately stayed awake for 42 hours and got sick right afterwards. I think one's immune system gets weaker the longer one goes without sleep, so you become more vulnerable to things that normally would just bounce off you.

Anyway, hope things improve.

it really is. Tang is way better than juice since juice can really contribute alot towards making phlegm. Tang has all the vitamins and junk of juice but without all that extra stuff you have to cough up later. Nyquil is nice just because it kills most symptoms and puts you into a sleep coma which is the best possible thing for your body when you're sick IMO. The two of them together supercharges your immune system to kick the sh1t out of any nasties that are making you sick.

*wanders into BG's kitchen*
*grabs his Tang*
*leaves his Nyquil*
*grabs a box of tissues*
*goes to bed finally*

That sucks. Sounds like you have something similar to what I had awhile back. Lasted about a week - but the cough lingered for a few more.
