Mountains are dead interesting

My maternal grandfather has the outline of a mountain called 'Ingleborough' on his tombstone - he liked the mountain so much, he even made sure it was visible from his house...it looks something like this from there (its just to the right of centre, in the background):

Close up it looks like this:

My paternal grandfather wants his ashes spread across the hilltop of Castell Dinas Bran (Welsh for Crow City Castle) - its one of many castles linked to Merlin and King Arthur etc. smile.  My grandfather was born near here, on the outskirts of Llangollen, which is a very beautiful place.

I feel obliged to out-do them some how - maybe Mt. Everest or something wink?  I come from a very boring industrial part of the country, so maybe I can 'adopt' a mountain idea?

I'm going to come visit you SubT. I hope you don't mind. I will force you to show me cool things throughout the country. In return, you may mail your ashes to me when you die and I'll find a good mountain for them.
