So last weekend I went to Seattle with my buddy Nick to catch a few Chicago White Sox vs Mariners games at Safeco Field. I've been a Sox fan since the 80's and I finally got to attend my first Sox games.
I'll post pics from the ballgame later since I still have to upload them to my photo account online...bleh.
But for now here's some random pics I took in Seattle.
From the Space Needle:
Yes, this is my goofy ass that doesn't like to smile in pictures...
Check out the zoom my new lens has pretty sweet... There in the water are two ships from Pirates of the Caribbean movies... they were giving tours for free but we never made it down that way, I did however snap a few pics of the ships in the water from the Space Needle:
Just wanted to make sure it was gonna post all these...lol
more:
So, I walked into this building and asked the security guard if there was anywhere I could take pics in the building since it's the highest building in Seattle and it'd be cool to snap some pics from there. For $5, $3 with a school ID you can go to the 73rd level and they have a sweet observation deck at about 1000 feet up. which is pretty much double the height of the space needle.
Pics from above...
Looking down at the space needle...
The oldest part of Seattle down below... The white building on the left was the tallest building this side of the Mississippi for about 50 years. It's funny just how short it looks from my vantage point here...
Then we just started walking around Seattle by the waterfront and pikes place market, the famous place where they throw fish all day long...lol
These guys were awesome, we watched them play two songs... Slim Pickens I believe is what they called themselves...
Even some of the newscasters in Seattle look hippie-ish to me...lol
I have no idea why, but these pigs were all over Seattle, I asked a couple people but they had no idea either. I'd post all the pics I had of them but that'd take waaaaaaaay too long...lol
It just happened to be the 100th anniversary of Pike Place Market so that was kinda a cool day to be there...
I tried to get one of them throwing the fish but could never get a good shot since there were so many people around...
The only time I went to jail during this trip...lol We stopped in the check out this police museum since my buddy's brother in New Jersey is a detective he's all into cops and stuff... I just walked around and took random pics.
We were sitting down on a park bench and I felt like taking more pics but figured all the homeless people would get pissed so i just went with birds instead...
Fast forward to after the game and a lot of alcohol later and the rest of these pics were taken at Cowgirls Inc where we went to after the Mariners beat my White Sox but I met a DJ for a local radio station and he told me about a little shindig his Radio Station was doing at the bar we went to. He was also a Sox fan so we were cool from the start...lol No nudity, just bartenders wearing not much clothing... whom looked much much more attractive the night these pics were taken compared to what I think they looked like after checking out these pics... still mostly hot, but not to the extent the beer goggles hooked me up with...lol
A lot of pics of this chick cuz she liked jumping around and hanging and ****...lol
The next tow pics taken one after the other came out great, I'm sure I captured the beauty of this young lady rather well..
The DJ I mentioned in his white sox jersey and my big buddy nick on the left.
HI.
I'm pretty sure they teach these girls to flip off cameras... so they were all over me with that ****...hahaha.
My waitress for the night doing her turn on the bar...
Almost forgot, another bird...
This usually only ends in one way...
OOPS. I have such mad skill with my camera...lmao.
I googled the pig thing out of curiosity , apparently they are there to help raise money for that 100th anniversary thing - they've got a map with them all mapped on.

How come they have two stadiums right next to each other ? They look pretty big...
Safeco field is the baseball field and is pretty much only used for baseball. The other is Qwest field and it's used by the Football team here. The Seattle Seahawks. Most cities use the same field for both sports but Seattle just wanted another stadium I guess...lol
I don't think I ever mentioned it, but these were the actual ships used in the "Pirates of the Caribean" movies. You can actually take free tours on them... we never made it to that part of town though.
