So, Pete Doherty has been arrested, yet again, though this time it was for suspected assault and not drug possession. Some people adore him like he is the new William Blake, others see him as the physical embodiment of all the negative aspects of our society, basically. I personally quite like him, and can sympathise with him somewhat (but I wish I had his money ). It often seems like all creative people and so on have to be either suicidal or high on drugs in order to be creative - obviously, its not good for people to be that way...but think of all the music and art we would lose if we helped these people.... I don't really know what to think of such people - they often seem like goldfish in a bowl, completely unaware of what is going on 'out there', or what people think of them...
He's a British singer (though it would be more accurate to say he's a drug addict, who is a part time singer). He's always in the news here. I'm sure you've heard of Kate Moss? They were engaged to be married, and they are always 'on, off' with each other - they are pretty messed up together .
